Grizzlys Adventure Blends

Review: Grizzly’s Adventure Blends

At the beginning of the year I was in negotiation with Grizzly’s Adventure Blends regarding becoming one of their R&D Ambassadors.  Very soon after the agreement was signed a package arrived in the post containing their range of teas for my perusal and review.

The range sent for review included:

  • Grizzly’s Breakfast Tea
  • Campfire Cookout
  • Lemon Verbena
  • Peppermint Forest
  • Gunpowder Green Tea

Initially I tried all the blends at home between my wife Mandi and myself (I don’t do Green Tea!).  To say that we are impressed is an understatement.  I have never been a fan of Lemon Verbena or Peppermint teas as I tend to find them very ‘wishy washy’ in flavour.  However, I needn’t have worried – both were just bursting with flavour and had a great after taste.

For me I prefer a good strong traditional tea and I wasn’t disappointed with the Breakfast Tea and the Campfire Cookout Tea.  Both had good flavours with or without milk.

The one thing I do not like is tea in a flask which has been in the rucksack for several hours!  For me it has to be freshly brewed to gain the maximum of flavour and enjoyment.  All of the Grizzly’s Adventure Blends Teas come in handy, durable, resealable bags which can be thrown into the rucksack along with a stove or flask of hot water ready to be made.

It is true what they say that when you are hot and thirsty – drink a nice hot cup of tea and you will feel refreshed.  The range of tea’s from Grizzly’s Adventure Blends is wide enough that there will always be at least one tea to suit everyone’s taste.

For a hot drink that will refresh you anytime of year I can most definitely recommend you try Grizzly’s Adventure Blends Tea’s. Click on the logo below to check out their full range of teas and coffees.
