This years National GetOutside Day is on Sunday 29th September and there are activities all over the country.  Details on how to find out whats happening click HERE

You do not have to be super fit of even slightly fit.  In fact the emphasis this year is on trying some new activities or even trying a very short walk for the first time.  There will be activities all over the country to cater for all needs.

If you want to join me

I am organising a gentle walk along the Longmoor Military Railway line near Liss in East Hampshire.  Because of the nature of the path we will be taking, you can walk as far as you feel comfortable then return to the carpark.  For the more energetic amongst you there is plenty to explore under your own steam on the former military training area.

This will be a partial lead walk and partial self explore walk.  I will lead the slower ones and those that wish to head off into the depths of Weavers Down are free to do so.  It is a great place to explore with plenty of wildlife.

Date: 29 September
Start: 10.00
Finish: no later than 13.00
Car Park: SU 78087 29308 / GU33 7TR
Map: OS Explorer OL33

Please wear comfortable walking shoes or boots and bring a waterproof.
