The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge consists of the peaks of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and should be completed within 12 hours. These peaks encircle the head of the Ribble valley in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24-miles long, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.
